[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]To motivate our young generation to adopt a healthy lifestyle through exercise, EDB and the Department of Health have placed strong emphasis on physical activities, such as rope skipping. They have also encouraged school to run more physical programs.
Schools in Hong Kong organize different activities for students to broaden their scope. However, most of the activities are rather repetitive. On the other hand, skipping provides an innovative alternative that possibly achieve many different goals.
With the staunch support from the EDB and the Department of Health, an increasing prevalence of rope skipping in recent years has proven the benefits of rope skipping. No matter if our participants are different age groups and abilities, we strongly believe that our coaching strategies can get them interested in rope skipping. Our aim is to teach leadership, dedication and fitness to young athletes through the sport of rope skipping. Our demonstrations are designed to promote not only the sport of jump rope, but also the benefits of personal development, health, fitness, and fun that are exemplified in skipping. Young athletes also learn to cooperate with others to achieve a competitive or recreational goal.

The HKIRS is always ahead of the market.
In the academic year of 2016-17, the HKIRS is going to establish a online learning platform called DEFINE ROPE SKIPPING via hkirs.com.hk/defineropeskipping . Tutorials and tricks demonstrations will be available on the website. Our coach is familiar with the online e-learning and student can do flipping classroom with our systematics approach of rope skipping.
